We all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but sometimes you're in a rush and don't have time to put much together. So here are a few of our favourite quick and easy breakfast recipes to start off your day the right way. And they're super healthy for you too, bonus!
Green Smoothie
Grab a handful (about 50g) of chopped spinach, 100g roughly chopped broccoli florets, 2 celery sticks, 4 tbsp dessicated coconut, 1 banana and 300ml rice milk, pop it all in a blender with 300ml of water and whizz together until smooth. You could also add a quarter of a teaspoon of spirulina or a scoop of greens powder for an added healthy boost. This is the perfect option if you're really in a rush and want something packed with really healthy ingredients.

Greek Yoghurt & Fresh Fruit
Greek yoghurt is another great choice for when you don't have much time in the mornings. Packed with almost twice the protein of regular yoghurt and low in fat, it's ideal to start off your day. Just top with some fresh fruit for added flavour and antioxidants, blueberries are our favourite choice. You could even pop a few chopped nuts on for an added crunch!
Avocado & Egg Toast
All you need for this one is two eggs, two slices of wholemeal or granary bread, 1 ripe avocado and some lemon juice. Firstly, cut the avocado in half lengthwise, twist it to separate it into two halves and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and mash it with a teaspoon of lemon juice using a fork. Cook your eggs, this can be however you want, poached, fried or scrambled. When your eggs are almost done, toast your bread and spread the avocado on top. Then pop your eggs on top to finish. You can also season with salt and pepper if you want to.
